Our local teams focus on player development, providing a nurturing environment for athletes to improve their skills and understanding of the game. These teams participate in local tournaments, allowing players to gain valuable experience without the demands of extensive travel.
The emphasis is on learning fundamentals, teamwork, and enjoying the sport while competing at a level that promotes growth and confidence.

Travel: Minimal — local only

Our regional teams are more competitive, designed for players seeking to challenge themselves against higher-level competition. While most tournaments are in Houston, these teams may travel within Texas a few times to face opponents outside the local area.
The focus is on advancing skills, strategic play, and preparing athletes for more demanding competition — all while fostering a strong sense of teamwork and sportsmanship.

Our Puma NXTPRO circuit teams are for advanced players who demonstrate a high skill level, strong work ethic, and a deep passion for basketball. These athletes are dedicated to rigorous practices and competitive tournaments, striving for excellence on and off the court.
8th-grade teams are required to compete in 3 Puma events plus Nationals. High school teams must compete in 5 Puma events plus Nationals. Travel is an essential part of this program, offering players the opportunity to compete against top talent regionally and nationally — preparing them for the next level of play.

We prioritize getting players in the gym as much as possible — offering free camps, clinics, training sessions, and workouts year-round.
Skill-focused sessions held throughout the year. Open to current UOH players at no additional cost.
Group and small-group training designed around shooting form, defensive footwork, and game-situation reps.
